Flixate / Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Understand the information involved when you use Flixate as a guest, sign in, or connect your own sources.
This policy describes the currently verified account, synchronization, diagnostic, and deletion practices. The publisher’s legal identity and policy effective date have not yet been confirmed.
Using Flixate as a guest
No account is required for guest use. Guest profiles, watch progress, favorites, configured add-ons, and playback settings are stored on the device. Guest mode does not create an anonymous cloud account or sync this guest library to a Flixate account.
Guest use can still involve network requests to sources you configure. “Stored on this device” does not mean that a source cannot receive information when you connect to it.
Guest data remains separate when you sign in and is not automatically uploaded into your account. Flixate cannot recover guest data after device loss or app removal.
Optional accounts and sync
If you choose Apple sign-in, Apple supplies authentication information to establish an account session. Account services process an account identifier and any account details supplied through the sign-in flow.
Signed-in features use account-linked data to provide profiles, favorites, watch history and progress, preferences, and supported source synchronization. The information involved depends on the features and sync settings you use. Source configurations can contain private access information; review what you configure and choose to sync.
Flixate uses Supabase for account and synchronization services. Signed-in device registration can include a persistent device identifier and device information.
Sources, add-ons, and media services
The sources and add-ons you choose receive requests needed to load their manifests, catalogs, searches, artwork, title details, streams, or other supported resources. Network requests can disclose your IP address, request details, and any authentication information required by that provider.
These providers control their own services and data practices. Review their privacy policies and access requirements before adding them. Flixate cannot determine every third party you may choose to connect.
Diagnostics and support
The app includes a user-initiated diagnostic upload feature. Uploaded diagnostics may contain technical logs, device or app information, and account-linked identifiers. Only submit information you intend to share for troubleshooting.
If you contact support, the information you choose to send will be used to address your request. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or private access tokens.
Your choices and deletion
You can continue as a guest, choose whether to sign in, and manage configured sources in the app. Removing a source does not necessarily erase every cached file or information already received by that provider.
The app provides an account-deletion option for signed-in users. Deleting an account removes its live account-linked sync data and diagnostic reports. Guest data remains on the device unless you remove it there. Third-party providers may retain information under their own practices.
This website
These pages do not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact forms, or account sign-in. Page images, styling, and animation scripts are served with the site. The hosting provider receives the network information needed to deliver the pages; its logging and retention practices must be confirmed before launch.
